BEFORE/AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The program provides a supervised framework for academics, crafts, creative activities, and games for students. The program is for parents' convenience as well as for child safety. Enrollment forms must be returned to the Business Office along with the registration fee of $15.00 per family prior to attendance. Parents are encouraged to register their children for the program in case of emergency and unforeseen circumstances.
PROGRAM POLICIES AND FEES
The BEFORE SCHOOL PROGRAM is mandatory for ALL children who come to school prior to 7:30am when morning supervision begins. The program begins at 6:30am and students remain with the person in charge until regular school supervision (grades 1-8) begins at 7:30am. The fee is $3.00 per day per student. Before School Care is available to AM and Full Day Pre-K and Kinder students until 8:15am and the fee is $3.00 per day for students arriving after 7:30am. Pre-K and Kinder students who arrive before 7:30am will be charged $5.00 per day.
The AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM is mandatory for ALL students who do not leave at dismissal time. This program begins at 2:00pm to accommodate Full Day Pre-K and Kinder students. Students in grades K-8 who remain no later that 4:00pm will be charged $6.00 per day. Students attending after 4:05 pm until 6:00 pm will be charged $10.00 per day.
Students not picked up promptly at school dismissal (by 2:45pm) will be sent to the After School Program. Students are required to sign in and time is noted when students are picked up. Any student who signs in and does not sign out will be charged the maximum fee ($10) for the day.
A student, who attends other after school activities such as piano, sports, scouts, etc., must be picked up promptly at dismissal from that activity. Those students who remain beyond the appointed dismissal time will be required to attend the After School Program and will be charged a fee appropriate to the time of pick-up. For example, a student who remains after school for an activity that dismisses at 4:00pm, and is not picked up from the After School Program until 4:20pm will be charged $10.00 for the day.
The After School Program is open until 6:00pm. Students not picked up by the 6:00pm closing time will be assessed $5.00 for every ¼ hr. or portion thereof beyond 6:00pm.
Full Day Kinder students who attend only from Kindergarten dismissal until bus/car pick-up with an older sibling pay a one-time fee of $100.00 (cost is less than 60 cents per day) for the school year. This annual fee applies only to Kinder students who attend and are picked up by an older sibling prior to 2:30 pm
There is no after school care on early dismissal days (check your calendar ), and no before school care on morning delayed openings. A supervised framework of academics, crafts, creative activities and games is provided. These programs are for your convenience as well as your child's safety

REGISTRATION IS MANDATORY prior to attendance for all of the extended care programs. An enrollment form must be returned to the Business Office along with the registration fee of $15.00 per family prior to attendance.
Billing is done on a weekly basis and the charges appear on a monthly statement. Statements are sent out on the 15th of each month, and are due on the first of the following month. Students with delinquent accounts over 30 days past due, will not be allowed to attend these programs until payment is made to bring the account to a current status.
