Monday, January 28 Button Check - Classroom teachers will be doing a routine "Button Check". Students who wear their Catholic Schools Week Button during Catholic Schools Week will get a Dress Down Day on Friday, February 22nd. Be sure to buy your Catholic School Button before Catholic Schools Week in order to qualify for the Dress Down Day in February

Tuesday, January 29 Student and Staff Appreciation Breakfast - sponsored by the PMA Parent Group. Members of the Parent Group will be delivering breakfast to the students and their teachers in their classrooms!
Wednesday, January 30 PMA Spelling Bee Students in grades 4- 8 will participate in the annual Spelling Bee. The bee will take place in the Auditorium at 9:00 A.M. Parents welcome! The top student will represent PMA in the Regional Spelling Bee in March.
Wednesday, January 30 Moms and Muffins Breakfast It’s MOM and Daughter Appreciation Breakfast! All moms and daughters are invited to come and have a muffin, coffee, and juice at school. Muffins will be served from 7:00 until 7:30 A.M.! Come and join other PMA families for breakfast! The Breakfast is sponsored by the PMA Faculty and Staff!

Please feel free to have your child accompanied by a special friend or relative if mom cannot make it for breakfast!
Wednesday, January 30 First Grade Talent Show A number of FIRST GRADE STUDENTS will perform in the FIRST GRADE TALENT SHOW scheduled for Wednesday, January 30th, at 12:30 PM in the Auditorium! First grade parents are welcome to attend.
Thursday, January 31 Laser Show Laser B E.A M. (Behaviour and Ethical Advancement through Music) is a novel approach to character building. The first twenty minutes of the program is a live presentation that focuses on teamwork and the personal character attributes that are important to teamwork: self-discipline,tolerance of others, and mutual respect. Students then learn about the importance of communication through a host of fun, interactive games and demonstrations. The second twenty minutes is a toe-tapping condensed laser program with a half dozen songs with corresponding laser imagery to reinforce the character theme.

There will be two showings of this program. Grades 4-8 at 8:30 - 9:15 and Pre-K - 3 at 9:45 - 10:30.
Thursday, January 31 Dads and Doughnuts Breakfast It’s Dad and Son Appreciation Breakfast! All dads and sons are invited to come and have a donut, coffee, and juice at school. Breakfast will be served from 7:00 until 7:30 A.M.! Come and join other PMA families for breakfast! The Breakfast is sponsored by the PMA Faculty and Staff!

Thursday, January 31 PMA Night at Roller Kingdom 6:30-8:30 The Parent Group is sponsoring a fun night of roller skating at Roller Kingdom for all PMA students and parents. You don’t want to miss this fun evening at Roller Kingdom. The arena has been reserved exclusively for PMA families and students. Admission $3.00

Friday, February 1 PMA Health Awareness Day Only Healthful foods allowed in the building today. No Junk Food! Salad on the house for all students.

All students must wear their gym uniform today and will participate in a mini-aerobics class at various times throughout the day.

Bingo Night at PMA Another fun event sponsored by the PMA Parent Group! Come and play Bingo with other families at PMA (6:30-8:00 P.M.) in the school cafeteria!

This is a popular event so don't forget to buy your tickets in advance. Tickets are $1.00. Additional cards may be purchased at the event.
