This is the fundraising program that works while you shop.

Scrip is simply a word that means "substitute money" - in other words, scrip is gift cards from national and local retailers. They're the same gift cards that you buy at the store. Many popular retailers participate in our scrip program including JC Penney, The Gap, Pizza Hut, Kohls, local restaurants, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. Please see the list of participating retailers on the order form.

Scrip participating retailers agree to sell gift cards to PMA at a discount. PMA families and friends purchase the cards for full face value, they redeem them for full face value, and PMA applies the % each retailer gives us towards your buyout fundraising fee or if your family is not doing the buyout option, we will designate the money for our new athletic fields. We predict that if 50% of our families purchased the gift cards through PMA, we would earn approximately $10,000 per year.

The beauty of scrip is that you put your regular household shopping dollars to work. You earn money for PMA without spending a single additional penny. Just spend your regular shopping dollars with scrip at the stores that participate in the scrip program! And scrip can be used for just about any household purchase including clothing, entertainment, and even dining out. The PMA scrip program promises to be a simple and effective fundraising program.

There are 2 ways to place your orders.  You may order through PMA:

1.  Return completed order form with a check made out to PMA for the total amount of cards you are purchasing.   All order forms must be returned to the school office no later than Thursday(s) morning.

2.  NEW online through  http://www.shopwithscrip.com/

Create an account online at shopwithscrip.com using the PMA Enrollment Code 697674E916231. Place your order before Thursday mornings by 10:00 am.  You may pay with 2 options:  1. Send a check to PMA with a copy of your order confirmation.  2. Pay online through Presto-Pay ($0.39 service fee)

All card orders will be sent home in the white envelopes on the following Wednesday.

Your participation is this program is important to us even if you already paid your $300 fundraising fee. At PMA we will use the scrip program to purchase our maintenance supplies and materials at Home Depot, Staples, and Office Depot, why not? Every little bit helps us provide your child with a great education. This money will truly help us with the many needs that we have at the school.

This program is a great way for parents to participate in fundraising. Here's how it works:

The Grocery Cards are of equal value to money. The cards are available in denominations of $100, $50, $25, and may be purchased through the school with a check made out to Presentation of Mary Academy.

Every time you use a card purchased through our school, Hannaford, Shaws, or Stop & Shop will have already donated 5% of your total dollars spent to the school. For example if you spend $100 and pay with the grocery card purchased through the school, you have earned $5 for PMA. The average family can raise over $300 in one year for the school.

How To Order Certificates

Send the money to school in a small envelope labeled Grocery Gift Card and insert the envelope in Wednesdays White Envelope. We will return the gift card to you by Thursday via your children.

A few other important details to remember.

1. Plan ahead for vacations and holidays - when there is no school on Thursday, cards will be distributed to your child on Friday.
2. All checks for Grocery Gift Cards must be received by Thursday. Grocery Gift Cards will not be available to you on Friday.
3. The only checks honored for Grocery Gift Cards are those with a PMA family name on it. If you choose to sell cards to family and friends, please make sure they write a check to you so you can then write a check to PMA
4. The cards make great gifts for friends and family at the holidays.
