PMA MUSIC PROGRAM

 

Choir

The PMA Chorus is open to students of grade 2-8. The fee to join the chorus is $50.00 per student for the year. The students will have voice training lessons and learn numerous pieces of music for school and community-wide performances as well as singing at the school liturgies throughout the year.

Choral practices will take place on Wednesdays from 2:30pm to 3:30 pm beginning September 12th, 2007. Students who are not picked up by 3:40 pm will be placed in the after-school program and charged the appropriate fee.

Flute

Flute Lessons and ensemble are offered to students in grades 2-8. These lessons are provided by the current Music teacher independently of the school.

In 2007-08, Mrs. Iaquinta will be offering lessons on Fridays between 2:30 and 4:00pm.The cost for a half-hour lesson is $20.00 per week. Fees must be paid one week in advance of the lesson. Please notify the instructor if your child will miss a class. Otherwise you will be charged the appropriate fee for the missed class.

Piano

Piano lessons are available for students from grades 3-8. The cost per half hour is $20.00. Lessons are offered Monday through Friday before and after-school only. Arrangements should be made with Sister Lorraine through the music department at 883-8192. Piano Lessons are a service provided by the Sisters of the Resident community and are not a part of the school's responsibility.
