PMA SKI CLUB INTRODUCTION

The 2010-2011 program will be held at Pat?s Peak in Henniker, NH. The program will run after school on Mondays for five weeks, January 3rd, 10th, 24th, 31st and February 7th. We will be departing from school approximately at 2:30pm and will return to the PMA parking lot by 8:00pm.

The program is offered to students in grades 1st through 8th. Students in 3rd grade and above MUST ride the bus. Children in 1st or 2nd grade must be transported by a parent and remain present for the duration of the program.

The cost of the program will be

  • Lift only ? $100.00 (level 5 and above)
  • Lift + rental ? $150.00 (level 5 and above)
  • Lift + rental + lesson ? $185.00
  • Lift + lesson ? $145.00

*Program includes bonus of 3 lift tickets 1 for Pat?s Peak, 1 for Gunstock, and 1 for Cranmore.

The lesson time will be 4:30-5:30pm. If your child will not be riding the bus (1st & 2nd graders only), please be sure to arrive by 4:00pm so your child will be ready for their lesson.

Registration for the program will be held online and will begin on October 1st.

There will also be an additional fee for bus transportation. This will vary depending on the total number of students registered for the program, but will be approximately $50 to $100 per student. The bus fee must be paid before the student can participate.

We will be holding an information night on Thursday, October 7th at 6:30pm in the school cafeteria with a representative from Pat?s Peak available to answer any of your questions. Students may also attend.

All participants are required to wear a ski helmet to participate in the program. They are available for rent or purchase at the mountain if you need one.

GENERAL INFO

  • The ski club will be skiing and riding on Monday afternoons.
  • The program includes a total of five trips.
  • The first trip will be on Monday, January 3rd.
  • The ski club leaves directly from school at approximately 2:30pm.
  • We will return to PMA at approximately 8:00pm.
  • All ski club students in grade 3 or above MUST ride the chaperoned bus.
  • Bus checks are to be made out to PMA and will be due by December 1st.
  • Registration deadline is November 7th.

To Register:

  1. Log on to www.patspeak.com
  2. Select ?Peak Winter? on left if still on Summer page.
  3. Click on ***Click Here To Register for the Learn to Ski and Ride Program.*** under ?Latest News?
  4. You will then be prompted to enter a username and password (these are case sensitive). Contact Deanna Tardif for username and password.
  5. You will then begin the registration process by choosing which program you would like your child to participate in?
    • Lift only ? $100.00 (level 5 and above)
    • Lift/rental ? $150.00 (level 5 and above)
    • Lift/rental/lesson ? $185.00
    • Lift/lesson ? $145.00

    Note, there are additional programs listed, but we are only offering the above four. Make your selection carefully.

  6. During the process you will be offered ?perks? that may be purchased (ski helmet rental is available here). These will be available on the first day of the program. Choose carefully, they cannot be returned or exchanged.
  7. Complete the registration process.
