Our PMA community grows with your child. From our youngest learners beginning at age 3 in PreK 3 through our 8th grade students. With students spanning these important years, PMA offers a sense of continuity and belonging throughout childhood.

For students entering pre-Kindergarten through grade 1, the following age requirements apply:

• Students admitted to grade 1 must be six years old by September 30 of the current year.
• Students admitted to Kindergarten must be five years old by September 30 of the current year.
• Students admitted to pre-Kindergarten 4 must be four years old by September 30 of the current year.
• Students admitted to pre-Kindergarten 3 must be three years old by September 30 of the current year.

Acceptance of students in grades two through eight is based on academic approval by the Principal and space availability. A shadow day is required for the student applying.

We believe visiting PMA is an essential part of the admissions process. Tours allow families to experience our classrooms, meet staff, and gain a better understanding of our Christ-centered approach to education. 

Families of all faith backgrounds are welcome to explore PMA. While our Catholic faith is at the heart of our school community and is woven throughout the school day, we welcome families who appreciate a faith-centered education and are comfortable with their children participating in our Catholic school traditions, prayer, and religious instruction.

Our goal is to partner with families in providing a strong academic foundation while helping students grow in character, compassion, and respect for others. We encourage families who are considering PMA to visit our school, ask questions, and experience our community firsthand.

PMA admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, and athletic and other school-administered programs.

Once your application is submitted, we will review your child’s academic records to better understand their individual needs, strengths, and readiness for the next grade level. For students entering Grades 1–8, we also coordinate a Shadow Day, giving prospective students the opportunity to spend time in a PMA classroom, experience a typical school day, and get to know our teachers and students firsthand. We do not typically require specific assessments.

The following documents are required for review:

• Birth Certificate
• A recent report card
• Recent standardized testing report
• Copy of any IEPs and/or 504s, if applicable (even if the plan is no longer in effect)
• Baptism Certificate (if Catholic)
• Physical and Immunization records
• Record Release Form for K-8.

Mid-year transfers are considered based on space availability and academic readiness. 

Families seeking admission to PMA who have outstanding financial obligations to other Catholic and private schools will not be accepted until those financial obligations are met.

PMA seeks to provide an educational environment in which each student can be supported and thrive. During the admissions process and throughout a student’s enrollment, we consider whether the school’s program, resources, and environment are able to appropriately meet the student’s individual needs. In circumstances where a student’s needs cannot be appropriately met within the school setting, or where those needs significantly impact PMA’s ability to provide a Christ-centered educational environment, the school may determine that an alternative educational setting would better serve the student and the school community. Decisions regarding student admission and continued enrollment are made by the Principal and Assistant Principal, with consideration given to the needs and circumstances of all involved. 

PMA offers a strong, well-rounded academic program designed to challenge students and foster a lifelong love of learning. Our teachers use carefully selected curriculum resources while integrating Catholic faith and values throughout instruction and the school day.
